Stanley
E. Pace,
Vice-President, Engineering
Mr. Pace has over 35 years of engineering
experience of which 25 have been specifically focused on the electric
power industry. His most recent projects have concentrated on the conceptual
level design and economic analyses of on site generation capabilities.
In his previous position with Northern Power Systems, he was responsible
for evaluating potential opportunities for on site generation projects
using a wide range of electricity sources including gas turbine, steam
turbine, fuel cells, solar, wind and advanced recycling technologies.
He has expertise evaluating emerging technologies for their suitability
and readiness for commercialization including modeling performance-cost
analysis to determine technical and economic feasibility.

Previous
to his 7 years at Northern Power Systems, Mr. Pace spent 10 in senior
engineering roles at Solo Energy Corporation, SOAPP, LLC and the Electric
Power Research Institute. At each of these organizations he successfully
applied an integrated technical/financial approach to electric power
generation project development and asset management. During this time
he demonstrated capabilities in project management, the design and evaluation
of electricity generating installations, sales and marketing support,
intellectual property licensing, new venture origination and business
development.
Mr.
Pace’s early career included project management, mechanical engineering
and nuclear pump engineering assignments at Sulzer-Bingham Pumps, United
Pumps and CE Power Systems.
Mr.
Pace served 5 years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and holds
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering
from Lehigh University. |
